This church, probably built in the 18th century, underwent successive renovations over the centuries, especially in its interior, as can be seen by the diversity of decorative styles. Inside, the nave's ceiling stands out with its neoclassical painting, as does the chancel with 32 coffers depicting hagiographic themes, and the main altarpiece of polychrome and gilded wood in the Joanine Baroque style. The angled side altarpieces, also in polychrome and gilded wood, are in the Rococo style.

It was once the Feira do Livro (bookseller's fair) and the Festas Sanjoaninas (Saint John’ popular festivities) this garden surrounded by trees is the ex libris of the Boavista area. At the centre rises the “Monumento de Homenagem aos heróis da Guerra Peninsular” (monument in honour of the peninsular war heroes), planned by the sculptor Alves de Sousa and the architect Marques da Silva. It is a huge granite column, 45 meters height, with a peninsular lion slaughtering a Napoleonic eagle on the top. This place is usually called Rotunda da Boavista.

It is a military monument of great beauty, classified as a National Monument since 1910. It dominates the landscape from a height of 930 meters, in the middle of Serra de Serigo. The current Palace, with an exotic Oriental plan, was built from an 18th century building that imitated a medieval castle. A possession of the Mello e Castro family, it was rented to Gerard DeVisme at the end of the 18th century, who bulit a neogothic manor. In 1856 it was acquired by Francis Cook, who built a new Oriental palace, with revivalist motifs, a true testimony to the romantic architecture. He also ordered the plantation of the Moserrate Park, that combines exotic and local plants, currently an important botanical museum. Nowadays, one may only visit the gardens.

Strong pentagonal plant, once intended for the defense of the city of Horta and its port of pirates attacks. Have been named, initially, of Forte de Santo António and was built in the second half of the 16th century. The original defensive system only the outer walls. Was ceded, in 1927, the Town Hall of Horta to be torn down and increase the avenida marginal. However, the lack of funds meant that the plans were not fulfilled. In 1947 it was classified as National Monument and in 1969 an Inn was built in its interior, today "Pousada de Portugal".

This palac was built at the beginning of the 20th century by the capitalist Jorge O'Neill according to the plan of the architect and painter Manuel Vilaça. Like a medieval castle it has several styles, namely the romantic style with gothic references, manuelin and Spanish-Arabic. In 1910 the count bought the building and made several changes to it. By testament, this building was left to the people of Cascais and a small museum and a library were introduced. It as several interesting works, many of which regarding Cascais, and some Indian-Portuguese furniture, namely counters of the 17th and 18th centuries.
