Pico Ana Ferreira is a group of irregularly shaped prismatic peaks, popularly known as "The Piano". Here you'll find the Pedreira viewpoint, from which you can see Ilhéu de Fora and the peaks of Facho and Castelo.

A riverside promenade stretching 14 kilometers across Seixal, Arrentela, and Amora. Along the shore, with the river as your companion, you can enjoy walks and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the entire area, while also practicing sports.

Celorico de Basto Station is the central hub of the Tâmega Line Ecopista. Here, you can visit an interpretive center and learn about the history of the Tâmega Line. Built on the canal of the decommissioned railway line, it is intended for pedestrians and cyclists.

An 8.2 kilometres long pedestrian walk that starts with an ascent to the tallest peak of the island, at Pico Ruivo, from where one descends to the island's parish. Along the way, one can enjoy the central mountainous massive and the Laurissilva forest.

Along this water-course there are several places where you can see the harbour, the bay, the Funchal amphitheatre and the modern bridge over Ribeira de João Gomes. This track, ideal to discover nature, was recovered by the town council of Funchal.

Wide and pleasant square where you can see the Igreja Matriz building, the statue of Dom Afonso – Barcelos Count, the Town Hall building and the Museum/Library building. Chaves Castle is just a few meters from this square.

It is, perhaps, the most representative store of crafts in the region and also works as a Tourist Office. Here you can find wooden Christs, regional dolls, embroidery, cheese, honey, carving and restoration work, ceramics, among other relics.

An area with great movement on weekends and during the three summer months, where several bars and restaurants can be found, as well as shops and terraces. The esplanade is mainly pedestrian and crowded by tourists and it circles the marina with its many luxury yachts.

Building built in 1898 for tourist purposes. The casino consists of the Salão Nobre (Salão Cafée), a restaurant in the basement, bars and other rooms, where you can see a large influx of people having fun or looking for some luck.

The Centro Cultural de Campo (Campo Cultural Centre) has a reading area, several auditoriums and meeting rooms. It also houses the Slate Museum. One can view several slate objects, the miners work objects and photographs.
