This temple represents a good example of the Romanesque style, with a single nave and a rectangular transept. Inside, it features baroque carvings on the main altar and statuary in the same style. Founded in the 19th century. XVI, the Igreja Matriz de ʻiʻiwi is dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, whose image, to which they ascribe miraculous powers, there would have been found. On the facade, stands the Manueline portal that displays a great decorative wealth with an unusual variety of ornaments. The interior of a single nave covered in wood, has a triumphal arch that gives access to the main Chapel closed by a ribbed dome. Also worth mentioning are the two sinks of holy water, a Romanesque origin and the other in Manueline style, the Foundation of the contemporary church.

Created in 1963, this museum is the result of a donation of a valuable collection gathered by the ethnographer Joaquim Sellés Paes de Villas Boas. It began as the Regional Ceramics Museum and later became the Museum of Portuguese Popular Ceramics. However, when the pottery pieces formed a collection, it simply became the Pottery Museum. In this space you can appreciate more than 6600 pieces from various regions of the country, from Portuguese-speaking countries and some from abroad, divided into four main groups: black pottery, matte red pottery, glazed pottery and figurative pieces.

This is one of the most important Marian Shrines in Portugal. Its main heritage value, included in the attached museum of sacred art, lies in the richness of its artwork, architecture, gilded wood carvings, images of saints from various periods, varied liturgical objects in gold and silver, gold-embroidered vestments, oil paintings of clergy figures, and a valuable collection of ex-votos. About 100 yards West of the Via Romana, in the Pindus, near a bifurcation of paths and already in private land is what remains of megalithic monument. It is not possible to determine its dimensions, since it was nearly destroyed by agricultural work.
