Confecionados com base em massa folhada e recheados a partir de doce de ovos e amêndoa, os travesseiros de Sintra são um dos doces mais apetecidos da doçaria local. Polvilhados com açúcar, recomenda-se que se comam bem quentes e acabados de sair do forno. São uma delícia para o paladar.

Resultado da reconstrução de uma quinta tradicional portuguesa que foi fundada pelo Comendador Armando Villar em 1940, esta é a primeira Quinta Pedagógica 100% Biológica do país. Aqui pode conhecer os engenhos tradicionais de captação de água, observar sistemas de rega tradicionais, pomares, hortas, e os animais autóctones presentes na quinta.

The Municipal Museum of Coruche aims to promote the cultural development of the population and make its history known. There are long-term, temporary and itinerant exhibitions, essentially composed of archaeological and ethnographic remains. The Museum also maintains a collection of school material, measurement and bullfighting collection, in addition to four funds: the Margarida Ribeiro Fund, the Monte da Barca Fund, the Armando Lizardo Fund and the Funfo FotoCine, with around 200 thousand negatives.

The former Misericórdia Church of Mértola houses the first municipal museum of sacred art. This space, known as Porta da Ribeira, presents a unique collection of images and liturgical artefacts from hermitages and chapels of popular worship. Here, the different nuances of humanity's relationship with various references to the sacred are reconstructed, with the exhibition of sacred art from the 14th to 18th centuries, liturgical artefacts, including chalices and processional crosses, and painted tablets.

The Zêzere River passes through the municipality of Belmonte and this small museum shows all its history and characteristics. From the source to the mouth, visitors can learn more about the species that live in the river that rises in Serra da Estrela, as well as the vegetation that surrounds it. This museum center was created in the old Tulha dos Cabrais, an austere building that functioned as the granary of the most important family in the village, whose manor is located right in front of it.

Casa da Fonte integrates a set of farmhouses recovered for Rural tourism. This Centennial House is composed by a room with bathroom, living room with tiled stove and kitchen with wood-burning oven, TV, games, stereo, two libraries and the cricket field. The exterior has a vast landscaped terrain and has BBQ place. Upon arrival, the visitor is received with a MIME: bread, home-made jams, drinks, fruit, butter and cheese.

O edifício do Cais do Sodré foi recentemente recuperado e remodelado pela REFER, mas a sua construção data de 1925 a 1928. Foi desenhado pelo arquiteto Pardal Monteiro e apresenta um estilo modernista. A linha ferroviária liga a capital às praias da costa de Lisboa e cidades a oeste de Lisboa, incluindo Cascais, Estoril e Oeiras.

Fort located at the foot of Serra da Arrábida. Its tower is dated from 1390. In 1572 it suffered enlarging works and was completely remodelled after the Restoration War. The chapel, covered with glazed tiles from the XVIII century, is worthy of notice. In the XIX century it was a prison and later the holydays residence of King D.Carlos and Queen D. Amélia. In 1909; it became a hospital for orthopaedic diseases and maintains its function until today.
