O restaurante Adega Gavina, fica mesmo em frente ao rio, na zona da alfândega de Vila do Conde. Com o grelhador à porta, é fácil perceber que muitos dos pratos passam por ali, em particular peixes, que não faltam em terra de pescadores. O peixe galo e o rodovalho, grelhados ou fritos, sempre acompanhadas com açorda de ovas, são apostas certeiras. De destacar ainda o arroz de robalo, bem como o bacalhau assado na brasa.

The typical crockery of the municipality of Lagoa originally comes from Vila Nova de Gaia and was introduced to the islands in 1862 by Bernardino da Silva. Nowadays, in the museum nucleus, some of the main pieces produced are on display. The typical blue color remains evident in all the pieces, still produced today using the artisanal method.
