This granite building formerly served as a courthouse, prison, town hall, and farmers' guild. Currently, it houses the Municipal Library. Of particular note is the 18th-century National Coat of Arms ornamentation.

It was the largest company in the cork sector in Portugal and, for a time, in the world. Water tank with an iron guard and two ajutages. It has an ornamental wall, from the 18th century, presenting the royal arms at the centre.

Stretch of Roman road that some experts classify as being part of the famous "Via de Conímbriga" which followed for the guard and to Salamanca.
