Dating from the 17th century, this House is linked to important political events in the region. It is situated in the Valley between the serra da Cabreira da do Gerês, minutes from the National Park.

Bronze statue raised to pay homage to the eminent professor and surgeon Bissaya Barreto (1886-1974). It has a stone basis with the following inscription: “Let us do our children happy”.

The Homem do Leme, by Augusto Gomes, is a tribute to the boats’ pilots. It represents those brave men that, in the time of the sailing-crafts, had the responsibility to, in the open air, guide the boats to its destiny.

Lighthouse located on the southwestern tip of the island, more specifically on Ponta do Topo. It consists of a 16-meter-high circular tower and annexes housing the lighthouse keeper's quarters and a storage area.

It is the highest point of the famous Mount Brazil, about 205 meters above sea level. Offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city of Angra do Heroísmo, classified as a world heritage site.

Part of a group of small waterfalls, this one culminates in the Fervença Waterfall, 15 to 20 meters high. Access is via the EM (Nogueira/Portela do Vade) highway. The waterfall is not suitable for sports.

The Gerês Mountain has five major water courses. But there are tens of fountains that "escape" that main network, with fine water springs along the mountain. The Curral do Gaio fountain is one such example.

A beach surrounded by rocks of rare beauty, located by the Ponta Alta fortress and the Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho.Attended by those who enjoy radical sports.There are several luxury restaurants and shellfish houses.

This beach is not very large and is also a bit rocky. It has a nice maritime walkway, which is ideal to do sports. The bar/restaurant and esplanade with the same name is very pleasant and full of life.
