Chiesa Madre (mother church) of longitudinal plant consisting of a single nave and a narrower chancel. In the interior, especially the sepulchral gravestone of Abbot of Meixedo, Manuel da Nóbrega de Azevedo.

An Art nouveau building, as the name indicates, this building was once the Casa da Cooperativa Agrícola. Notice the azulejos (glazed tiles) panel, from 1913, made at the Fonte Nova factory.

Construction dated from the end of the XVII century, being at that time the Santa Casa da Misericórdia and its Hospital. It was later the Medical School of Funchal and is now the Regional Government Palace.

In this church are some tiles dating from the 17th century, 16th century sculpture of São Vicente and of Nossa Senhora da Graça and still images of Santa Luzia and the Holy Spirit.

Serra with 545 meters above sea level, from where it is possible to obtain beautiful panoramic views over Praia da Vitória, the plain of the slabs and the entire surrounding area.

The Monte da Rocha Reservoir, formed by the earth-type dam on the River Sado, is located in a rugged region. The most common fish species are largemouth bass, barbel, carp and the goldfish.

A beach with fine, clear sand and a vast expanse of sand divided in half by a pier. This location hosts the famous Festa da Maré in August every year. It is classified as a Nature Reserve.
