The International Garden Festival is located in Ponte de Lima, on the right bank of the Lima River, has an area of about 2.5 ha and is organized into four spaces: parking, the pool and bar area, leisure park and the area defined by the International Garden Festival, where every year - from May to October - the Garden Festival competition takes place, with varied themes and compositions.

Fifth of tourist animation, well known for its festivals minhotos, filled with traditional music, grilled sardines, fêveras, chicken, bread and white and red wine. Welcomes also exhibitions of regional parts: tools and farm implements, granaries of Viana do Castelo, a regional Winery, old cars and buses, a 19TH century locomotive, a coach from the 17th century, oxcarts and horses.

Large gardens located in the Quinta do Arco country house, where one of the largest collections of rose bushes in Portugal is on display, with around a thousand different species, including some rare species and others on the verge of extinction, including plants endemic to the Macaronesia region and some species from the Madeira Archipelago itself. The Quinta offers special programs with accommodation and meals.

Modern stadium opened on October, 25th, 2003, built for the practice of football. It has 65 thousand seats. The new “cathedral” of Benfica, stage of the EURO 2004, replaces the mythic Luz stadium and its famous third ring. The stadium was planed by the company Hok Sports and contemplates a relevant leisure area, from which the commercial and health clubs areas stand out.

Installed in the building that was, from the 16th century until 1834, the 13th Convent of the Order of Arrábidos, it opened its doors to the public as a museum in 1998 and presents several exhibitions related to the municipality of Loures, namely, archeology, ethnography and visual arts. It preserves two milestones found during the construction of the new Palace of Justice in the city of Loures, where a Roman Villa was also identified.

The present National Museum of Archaeology (MNA) was founded in 1893. It is the reference institution of the Portuguese archaeology, keeping regular correspondence with museums, universities and investigation centres all over the world. Apart from the exhibitions, the museum offers several services such as the regular edition of publications, conservation and repair of archaeological goods, seminars, conferences and lectures, specialized library, fundamental scientific research, among others.

The Museu Romântico da Quinta da Macieirinha (romantic museum) re-creates the atmosphere of a wealthy XIX century Porto’s house. The king Carlos Alberto of Sardinia was exiled and spent the last tears of its life in this house. In his memory, some parts of the house such as the bedroom, the living room and the chapel were set up from the aquarelles and lithography of the king’s time.

Created in 1977 in the former Jesuit College, this museum tells the history of the island and the city of Horta. The exhibition consists of ethnographic objects (by highlighting the laces and handcrafted made from fig tree), nautical, technological objects (linked to the history of communications) and artistic. It also features an exhibition of sacred art in the 16th and 17th centuries, of elements and religious figures gathered in churches and chapels of the island.

It's a journey through time, operating in the former Mirandelense Mill facilities and featuring a hydraulic olive press that's over 100 years old and in perfect working order. The space celebrates the theme of olive oil, with several areas for visitors: from the Olive Press Room to the Olive Courtyard, the Field and Fruit Room, the Sounds of the Olive Grove, the Olive Production and Processing Room, and more.

The Museum of sacred art of Grândola in St. Sebastian's Church and was inaugurated in February 2011 with the exhibition "Loci Iacobi-the Camino de Santiago and Europe", dedicated to the oldest European pilgrimage route. In this exhibition features the masterpieces from the Museo das Peregrinacións, de Compostela, the Musée Crouzatier, Le Puy, and churches and museums do Alentejo (Beja, Moura and enhancement for Santiago do Cacém).
