This museum consists of a completely closed box, which aims to establish a certain parallel with a music box. An 18 kilometres long pedestrian walk that lasts about 5 hours. Along the way you may observe the beauty of the Laurissilva forest with its countless waterfalls. Once at the Caldeirão Verde there’s one more waterfall with about 100 metres, ending in a clear water lagoon.

This route starts at the Church of Água Retorta and ends at Faial da Terra, with an approximate duration of two hours and a length of about 6.2 miles. Along the way you can get magnificent panoramic views over the Água Retorta, Pico Bartolomeu and Pico da Vara.
