The geological formation in this area created one of the island's most popular bathing areas. The result of lava flowing from the island's interior, the rocks protect small beaches where various soccer and beach volleyball competitions take place.

Windmill recovered between 1998 and 2006, and currently in operation. Here we can buy bread baked in the oven, cakes and pizzas.

Viewpoint located in a large space, at altitude, providing privileged views over the jagged, green slopes of the southern edge of Pico Island and the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.

This viewpoint offers the best views of the island. Delight in the green hills that surround the Fajã de São João which rises inside, framed by the blue sea.

The Miradouro da Terra Alta is located at approximately 415 meters high and offers magnificent panoramic views over the neighboring São Jorge Island and the ocean.

It is the second-highest peak on the island of Madeira, with an altitude of 1818 meters. It offers a magnificent view and, when the weather is good, you can see the neighboring island of Porto Santo. It has an inn, a restaurant and a souvenir shop and is one of the most visited peaks on the island due to good access and the trails that connect it to Pico das Torres and Pico Ruivo, which are very well-prepared and signposted.

Quinta do Castelo is a natural space with over 300 years of history, located on one of the slopes of Castelo da Feira. It is a very well-maintained park, with centuries-old trees, trails, an artificial lake crossed by a bridge, and an artificial grotto of rare beauty reminiscent of Gaudí's art. It is also known for hosting the Perlim Christmas Village, an initiative that, every year around Christmas time, recreates a magical world with hundreds of actors, where children can visit Santa's house, Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother's house, or even climb Jack's beanstalk.

Route which begins down a path that goes up to the whale Lookout from where you can enjoy a privileged view over the canal and the island of São Jorge. Then go down to the Bay of Gasparal, which was used for many years as boarding zone for kites of verdelho wine to export. From this point the route always follows in the coastal area to the Lajido.
