A famed beach, with lovely sceneries and good conditions. When one arrives in Foz do Arelho, one is most surprised by the meeting of the Óbidos lagoon and the ocean. One may then choose between the turbulent Atlantic waters and the tranquility of the lagoon, excellent for the children. Uniquely beautiful, it is the ideal spot for boat or canoe rides, for fishing and for practising water sports - there is a sailing school and a widsurfing school. There are several restaurants, lots of liveliness at night and street shops.

A beach located in a fishing village, nestled in a small valley with a paradisiacal landscape. Nestled between cliffs, it is bisected by the Ceixe River, which separates the Alentejo from the Algarve. Barriers were built in the sand to try to secure the dunes. The water is cold and choppy, but offers excellent conditions for surfing and canoeing. There are a few restaurants serving traditional dishes. A stroll through downtown Odeceixe, a trip on the tourist train, or a stop at the Ponte Branca viewpoint are recommended.

Highly appreciated by children and adults, it is the largest green space in the city and its large reflecting pool is its landmark. It has hiking trails, a children's area, an extreme sports park, recreational boats, a restaurant and two bars. Located in the city's expansion area, it also features a swimming pool-beach, very popular in the warmer months, from where it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the imposing Serra da Estrela mountain range.

Space Museum opened in 2002, with three storeys and four exhibition halls, where displays the earliest artistic traditions and Portuguese bread. The space is divided in Bread cycle Room, Room of political, Social and religious Bread, Bread art Room and Pedagogical Room. There is also a restaurant where the King is, as expected, the bread. Be sure to visit the old grocery store, where they acquire various kinds of bread here produced. Tertulias and temporary exhibitions are frequent activities of the Museum.
