It's one of four gates that provide access to the walled interior of Monsaraz Castle and reflects the military concerns of the time. Each gate is composed of granite, red clay mortar, and lime. This one, like the Alcoba Gate, is carved in a round arch.

The doors D'El Rei are the main entrance to the walled enclosure that surrounds the city, located in the southern part, between two embattled towers. On the outside, feature a bow down and, inside, an arch in warhead. Emphasis on the shield of the city, in stone.

The Portas da Vila, also known as Portas de Santa Maria, are one of the most characteristic monuments of Campo Maior, and also one of the main entrances to the town.

It looks like an ancient relic, but this is not true. This rococo style column is no more than an imitation of an old pillory placed there in 1945, as a decorative item, due to the works done in the Terreiro da Sé.

The pillory superior body is in São Pedro church and it has octagonal shape with gothic curved arch.

Horizontal Board bridge on a single arch back full. On the way to access it is possible to see some shrines with plank painted popular taste.

Fountain restored in 2001, with a spout and a small rectangular tank. Is coated with tiles and extends, the sides, forming two banks.
