Within the Termas da Ferraria, the restaurant, which receives the same name, alia health, taste and well-being, thanks to the knitting of dishes based on vegetables, fruit and fresh fish. To accompany the meal, is also made available a list of wines among which we highlight the typical of the region of the Azores. During the week, dinners are served upon reservation.

The Litre & restaurant co., installed in space Innovation of Vila Verde owes its name to the oversized wine bottles. In this modern space, the wine gets a special mention, in conjunction with a contemporary kitchen. In this House of the Bairrada region, the fish and seafood are the major stars in the kitchen of chef Gonçalo Soares. The piglet does not enter the letter, where the stews and the fries are the specialties.

This public facility, unique in the region, has an indoor riding arena for teaching and training vaulting, a show jumping arena with obstacles and facilities for the rider, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and fourteen stalls designed to house various equines, whether of the Garrano or Lusitano breed. An 8.2 kilometres long pedestrian walk that starts with an ascent to the tallest peak of the island, at Pico Ruivo, from where one descends to the island's parish. Along the way, one can enjoy the central mountainous massive and the Laurissilva forest.

Wide and pleasant square where you can see the Igreja Matriz building, the statue of Dom Afonso – Barcelos Count, the Town Hall building and the Museum/Library building. Chaves Castle is just a few meters from this square.

This trail begins at the Windfarm of serra do Topo, descends to the Boiler from above and then to the Caldeira de Santo Cristo, place of great cultural and scenic interest. Ends in Fajã dos Cubres. Be sure to observe the SWR to transport firewood.
