Located on Monte de Santa Luzia, once a stage for mineral exploration, the Quartzo Museum aims to be an interactive space for exploring the geological and natural heritage of the region, being the only museum in the world to dedicate itself exclusively to a mineral. With a strong pedagogical aspect, it allows visitors of different age groups to carry out experiences related to geology and mineralogy.

Ancient park, occupied since 1635 by the Capuchin friars, which offers a romantic and peaceful atmosphere, in addition to several botanical rarities. In this park are the Baroque Church of the Third Order of São Francisco and the 17th century chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias. This garden, located near Feira de S. Mateus square, has an octagonal shape and is surrounded by walls and a protective moat. It used to be a military camp built by the Romans. It has been, since the 16th century, unduly associated with the Lusitanian warrior Viriato. In the 20th century, a monument was even erected in the garden in his honor. With 32 hectares, it is the largest monument of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula.

This tiles panel pictures typical region's clothes, characters and scenes of the traditional daily life, as well as 5 representations of a castle's tower. The inferior part of the panel has a frieze that pictures two feathers repeatedly. Several figures surrounded by frames decorated with flower motives stand out.

This typical manor houses the Dão Regional Wine Commission. The building was restored faithfully to the original exterior design and the decoration is modern and bold. There is a chapel adjacent to the building that does not have a regular liturgical function, but serves as the space's visiting room.

This Gothic building has undergone several modifications over time and, therefore, has Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Mannerist, Renaissance, Baroque and modern features. On the main façade are visible images of Saint Mark, Saint Luke, Saint John, Saint Matthew, Saint Teotónio and Nossa Senhora da Assunção. Highlight for the choir stalls, the 18th century gilded carvings, the 16th and 18th century cloister and the tomb chapels.

In this theater, in operation since 1999, take place the main cultural events of the city, from music to theater, through dance and poetry. It also organizes workshops, ateliers, temporary exhibitions and gatherings. There is also the "Canto do Teatro", a space dedicated to the memory of the former Teatro Viriato (Theatro Boa União), which operated between 1883 and 1960.

It is a set of sections of the old 14th century wall, where some sections near the Porta do Soar de Cima and the Porta de Cavaleiros stand out, the only remaining ones of the seven primitive gates. These doors have profile arches pointed on the outside and lowered on the soffit and a niche with the image of the tutelary saint.
