This garden, located near Feira de S. Mateus square, has an octagonal shape and is surrounded by walls and a protective moat. It used to be a military camp built by the Romans. It has been, since the 16th century, unduly associated with the Lusitanian warrior Viriato. In the 20th century, a monument was even erected in the garden in his honor. From the top of the Castle of Estremoz, one may view several villages along the Alentejo plains. In the clearest days one may even view the Estrela Mountain to the north. Closer by, marvão, Portalegre, Alter do Chão, Cabeço de Vide, Fronteira and Monforte are ar whithe-ish dots on the northern landscapes. From the other side, one has views of the houses in Évora.

The Vilamoura Environmental Park occupies an area of 200 ha of land owned by Vilamoura and was created with the aim of ensuring the preservation of ecosystems of great natural and landscape value. It integrates different areas of land occupation, which originates different types of habitats, with emphasis on wetlands dominated by reedbeds, areas of agricultural land, golf courses, and an area with dense riparian vegetation along the Ribeira de Quarteira.

The Almedina Arch was part of the medieval walls, dating back to the 11th century, as indicated by the Arabic-origin toponym meaning "the city". Today it is the entrance to old Coimbra, where one can see a sculpture from the workshop of João de Ruão. The wall has Roman origins, having been expanded several times. It presents characteristics of Roman, Muslim, Romanesque, Gothic and Manueline architecture.

This building is what is left of the very ancient Pintos de Begide Manor, a descendant of Dom Tructezendo Guedes, Lord of the Paiva Lands, where, according to local tradition, he lived with his daughter and his grand-daughter Dona Maria Teresa Taveira, who would be the mother of Saint Anthony. The building is very badly preserved. It can be acceded on foot along an earth path.

This chapel is attached to the walls of Feira Castle, having been built in 1656 by order of the Countess of Feira, D. Joana Forjaz Pereira de Meneses e Silva. It is a learned building, with a hexagonal section, revealing the influence of important centrally planned chapels in the region. Inside, the floor forms a radial design from the center, and there are gilded altarpieces on five walls. Attached to the chapel is the chaplain's house.
