Of the old church, which was destroyed during the 1755 earthquake, only this bell tower remains, restored in 1766, and which can now be seen, isolated, in the town's cemetery.

This Shopping centre is at the Aveiro outskirts and was built as an option to the shopping centres right in the middle of Aveiro. It has a hypermarket and a large catering area. It also has what is maybe its bigger attraction: seven cinema rooms.

The most requested menu options are the wreckfish and brown crab pastas and the pork meat "à alentejana" (with clams). Also quit enjoyed are the Miraponte's live coal grilled dishes, both of fresh fish and of varied meats.

From the top, at an altitude of 1052 metres, one may view the Montemuro mountain with the Paiva valley to the north and the granite Caramulo mountain to the south. No one knows for sure the construction date of this church, knowing only that already existed in 1321. The current building, however, dates from a renovation later, probably from 1788. Features an elongated plan with a single nave, a Bell Tower and a rectangular chancel. On the façade is the straight lintel portal framed by pilasters and, inside, some gilded altarpieces and the wooden ceiling with the inscription of 1788.
