There is a small port for fishing boats in this place, and from here it is possible to make visits to the caves on the coast. It has a diversified restaurant spot, shops and bars, as well an area with garden benches, shades and a view of the sea.

Medão Beach, better known as Supertubos Beach due to its fast, tubular waves, is internationally renowned for attracting surfers, bodyboarders, and windsurfers year-round, hosting international events related to these sports. Located at the southern entrance to Peniche, it is surrounded by dunes and boasts a vast stretch of sand.
