It has been eleven years already that the Paredes parish becomes a true stage for the most diverse art forms. Art, literature, poetry, music, theatre, craftswork and folklore represinte the six parishes of the Sousa Valley, with a program that has been most successful and has brought to Paredes important names of the arts in Portugal, such as Raúl Solnado and Maria João and Mário Laginhas. Casas restauradas respeitando a traça original ficando ainda à vista algumas pedras que nos mostram a forma como as casas foram construídas. Possui quatro apartamentos, simbolizando os quatro elementos da natureza (água, fogo, terra, ar). No edifício principal existem dois quartos, o de Stª Maria e o de Espírito Santo. A decoração está de acordo com os temas, no exterior existem jardins, uma capela, sala de jogos, um parque temático com os símbolos histórico-culturais de Marvão.

The trail takes two to three hours to complete at a leisurely pace, and this already includes 10 minutes to read and take in the descriptive panels.
