This timen honoured celebration, that take place in the second weekend of May, aims to get fundings for the Voluntay Firemen of Oliveirinha. The population donates carolos (onions, carlos and olive oil, boiled), that are distributed after the mass at the church's entrance to the people who wait in line. Back in the old days, this tradition, evoted to Saint Miguel, the patron saint, aimed to help the poor.

House of Flemish aspect which seems to have been built in the first half of the 14th century. What identifies with the Flemish houses is the placement of the chimney in the middle of the top of the facade. The first factory of this sponge cake, or light bread, was set up in a house, located in Tanque, in the parish of Margaride. It was the famous confectioner Leonor Rosa da Silva who, during more than fifty years of work, managed to make her Pão-de-ló de Margaride known in Portugal and Brazil, the name by which it is widely known today.
