Access to this fajã, located between Fajã de São João and Fajã do Ginjal, is via a narrow path, where you can enjoy fantastic views. However, this route is only accessible on foot, by donkey, or on horseback. The several houses here are now inhabited only on weekends. The land is used for agricultural purposes, primarily for growing yams and vineyards.

Between the Tejo river and the Atlantic Ocean, about 15 minutes away from Lisbon, by the Costa da Caparica sea sand, one finds the INATEL Holiday Centre - "A place in the Sun". Located in a prestigeous region in the Almada parish, accessible to those who live in Lisbon and in the southern bank of the Tejo river. It was the first "Holiday Centre" of FNAT, inaugurated on July 31, 1938.

Dating from the Late Neolithic, is in excellent condition. It is well signposted and has excellent access. About 4.30 miles and calling the Coentral Great, Coentral of barriers and Coentral do Fojo, this route is done by the ancient paths of access to land for cultivation.
