The rocks of the Coastline from Oporto are the oldest which outcrop in Portugal and constitute a geological heritage of high scientific interest-didactic, the Metamorphic Complex of Foz do Douro, classified as Municipal Natural Heritage. In April 2005 was created a thematic route for dissemination of this designated heritage by "Geological Tour of Foz do Douro", signaled with nine panels of information addressed to the general public. Reguengo do Fetal is located north of Fátima and is extremely well-known among climbers. With typical regional architecture, the main points of interest are the parish church (a Property of Public Interest), built in the 16th century with alterations in the 18th century, the chapels of Our Lady of Fetal and Saint Matthew, the wayside cross, and the Eay of the Cross. In October, the pilgrimage maintains the old tradition of the night procession illuminated by thousands of lanterns made from snail shells. Besides climbing, a hunting area for tourists can be found near the village.

The Cavez Sport Fishing Track annually hosts approximately 150 national and regional competitions, involving an average of 40 athletes per event, held every weekend (Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning) from March to October. The area comprises 3 ponds (one downstream, one in the center, and one upstream), where the waters have average depths of 2.5 meters and 3 meters. The predominant species in this track are barbel, chub, chub, and a wide variety of smaller species such as bleak, amberjack, goby, and perch.
