16th century religious monument composed of a nave, high choir, chancel, sacristy and a room used as a doctor's office. The mortuary chapel serves as an infirmary and has an autopsy room. Also, noteworthy are the Mannerist portal and the vegetal motifs in the main chapel.

Located at the historic centre of the city it was built over the portico that supported the ancient Roman Forum. The walls’ doors, part of the cloister and the ruins of the former church are from the XII century. At the Museum’s front are placed the portals of the extinct Santa Ana Church

19th century building with a simple rectangular plan, with two floors and a main façade with a central portal. It has a chapel attached to the rear facade, connected to the house from the inside. Highlight for the decoration of the main facade, with windows flanked by plant pendants.

Access to this fajã, located between Fajã de São João and Fajã do Ginjal, is via a narrow path, where you can enjoy fantastic views. However, this route is only accessible on foot, by donkey, or on horseback. The several houses here are now inhabited only on weekends. The land is used for agricultural purposes, primarily for growing yams and vineyards.

Rustic house recovered, all in stone, located at the slope of Serra da Estrela. Dating from the first quarter of the 19th century, now offers six bedrooms, two living rooms, a recreation room and a kitchen. Abroad, there is a garden with a swimming pool, a tennis court, a wine cellar, a distillery and a furnace where even today if you can bake bread.

The Bela Vista (Lovely View) Park is the result of the reconversion of an old farm, one among the many that once existed in the eastern part of town. Th first plantation of trees dates back to almost two decades before now. Nonetheless, the Park only opened its gates in 1991. A wide area where musical events take place.

A Casa da Eira, situated in the village of Vilar, is an ancient farmhouse transformed into Rural Tourism accommodation. This complex maintains the architectural structure of a wealthy farm house in the region of Barroso: the houses of housing and the den involve an inner courtyard, the old barns and stables, now converted into a Museum and regional wine cellar define the perimeter of the eira that gives the name to the House.

Traces of a probable ancient settlement, located to the West of the village of Peireses, at Carigo. Here was found some ceramic material of Roman chronology (tegullae). The land in question is not grown for some time now, what prevents a better visibility. On the way corridor private land near a water reservoir were also prevalent ceramic fragments from the same typology.

Beach located in an old fishing village, now touristic. Large space divided by several jetties. Today it attracts surfers, bodyboarders and recreational boats. It has some simple restaurants with good typical dishes, including the eel stew, egg sweets and above all the famous dessert Pão-de-ló de Ovar. There is no shortage of nightlife and street commerce.

Opened in 1982, it was a shopping center in the city for many years. Nowadays, stores became studios and rehearsal rooms, now being born as a kind of musical incubator in Porto. There are more than 100 rooms from which various musical styles come from and some artists, such as Manuel Cruz, from Ornatos Violeta, have their name associated with the space.
