16TH century chapel, comprising porch, nave, chancel and vestry. In the Vault you can see murals of 1757. The niche is the 18th century image of the Patron Saint in wood, a modern chorus and a pulpit of masonry box. The staircase that leads to this chapel was built by the City Council, in 1930.

Isolated Hermitage, 16th century, located at the bottom of the slope of the walls of the village. This Chapel is composed of narthex, nave, chancel, vestry and ancillary buildings. In the 18th century was deeply changed, given the construction of the new sanctuary and the altarpiece. The mural was restored in 1883.

This is a typical Alentejo rurality construction, consisting of: narthex, nave, chancel, baptistery and sacristy. Inside, the chancel, one can see a mural musicians with angels in female attire and tiles, the latter, replaced during the restoration, in 1996, as happened with the pavement.

Praça Dinis Fernandes Miranda

Dinis Fernandes Miranda was born in the village of Montoito, April 21, 1929. Was a Communist and his entire life was dedicated to workers, of freedom, of democracy. Started working very early and in 1957 moved to the port. He was arrested 12 years, where he was released after April 25. He died in February 1991.

This church was a hospital of mercy and currently, its ground floor serves as a daycare. The murals contained on the walls of the nave of the church dating from the 16th century. As it was affected by the earthquake of 1755 was repaired.
