The chancel is lined with 18th-century tiles illustrating scenes from the life of St. John the Baptist. Has an 18th century altarpiece and preserves 1468 panels and some ancient carvings.

The church has, in the main chapel, tile panels of 1692, a ceiling with representation of Biblical scenes and, in the sacristy, two sculpted fountains. It has also golden carved altars and a triumphal arch.

XVI century fountain framed on the Manueline and mannerist styles with the arms of D. Manuel I, the armillary sphere and the Christ Cross engraved in the stone.
