Large forest park located in the Centre of the island, about 250 meters of altitude, with lots of trees and shade and a pleasant picnic area.

This park, with a vast area with trees and no bushes, is well preserved. To enjoy the space, be it for picnics or for camping, one needs an authorization of the Forest Services.

This Park is part of garden Village Ficaia. The diversions are protected by the shade of the trees and the floor is synthetic. Outside the amusement area, lawn and cemented.

Infante Dom Pedro Park, or City Park, was established in 1862 on land previously owned by the Convent of Santo Antônio. The river that ran through it was used to create a landscape of lakes and fountains dotting the surrounding greenery. Highlights of this garden include Avenida das Tílias, the iron bandstand, and romantic corners nestled among bridges and trees.

Ancient park, occupied since 1635 by the Capuchin friars, which offers a romantic and peaceful atmosphere, in addition to several botanical rarities. In this park are the Baroque Church of the Third Order of São Francisco and the 17th century chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias. It also has a children's library, a tennis court, a playground and an area for extreme sports.
