A beach on the western extremity o the Baleal bay. It is located very near Peninche and it is hence quite attended.

Pebble beach known for its mild temperatures throughout the year. It has a bar-restaurant, toilet facilities and access for the disabled.

Surrounded by large cliffs, this beach is located in a small fishing village and has a small harbor. Here you'll find traditional restaurants and pleasant terraces.

Beach next to the natural pools of Porto Moniz, a true highlight of the region. These peculiarly shaped volcanic rock formations create water basins, with a large tourist charisma, where bathing is possible.

Hidden from the city of Horta by Monte Queimado, Porto Pim Beach has soft, black sand, very typical of these volcanic islands. The bay of Porto Pim is, without a doubt, a place of rare beauty. Monte da Guia and the aforementioned Monte Queimado constitute natural barriers to the entry of sea water, making these waters calm and deep blue. Its green spaces and fortification, make that bathers consider it the best beach on the island.

With an extensive sandy beach flanked by high cliffs, it is a calm beach, despite its proximity to the city. In winter, a thick layer of clay accumulates at the base of the cliff, which the locals say has medicinal properties.
