Revival Chapel of longitudinal plant simple, with a ship preceded by an open porch, a chancel only marked internally and a vestry located near. Inside, the altarpiece and revival for an alms box lined with polychrome tile.

Created by the Valongo Town Hall in cooperation with the Faculty of Science of Oporto's University,The Palozoic Park intends to preserve and divulge the fossil areas in Valongo and of its flora and fauna.It is an open space, in the region's hills.

The ' Faialense ' Theatre is the reference cultural space on the island of Faial to the presentation of cultural initiatives in the field of dance, theatre, music or movies. Opened in 1856, was closed for restoration works for six years, reopening in 2003.

Lighthouse opened in 1901, was the second to be built in the Azores. Formerly it was fuelled by oil, gas and diesel, currently runs on electricity. Near this place there is a small house where, from 1892, was installed the Semaphore Station.

This is the first open-air Paleolithic rock art site to be discovered in Portugal, in 1981. The engravings depict three zoomorphic motifs, the most prominent of which is a horse. The site is known by local residents as Carneira.
