Formerly a dependency of the Arouca Monastery, to receive conventual income, Casa da Tulha is part of the Municipal Museum, being its current museum nucleus. The inscription, of 1760, places its construction in the 18th century. With an interesting general appearance, it is the portal – topped by fires and a cross – that takes center stage in this architectural piece. Visits to Casa da Tulha must be booked at the Municipal Museum.

The Gerês Mountain has five major water courses. But there are tens of fountains that "escape" that main network, with fine water springs along the mountain. The Quelha da Buraca fountain is one such example.

The botanical garden O Chão das Artes is located in the surroundings of Casa da Cerca, one of the main cultural centers in Almada. When walking through the outcropped garden, it is possible to enjoy the magnificent views that the various viewpoints provide. The Grocery, fish restaurant in Caxias has, of course, the supply of fresh fish as a main attraction. Presents several meat specialities like the loaf in the stone, the roast duck in the oven (Saturdays) and the Cozido à portuguesa (Sundays). Situated near the railway line Tua, the termas de São Lourenço are mainly frequented by locals. But there are, looking for these particular waters for its therapeutic qualities in the treatment of skin diseases.

A walking trail approximately eight kilometers long, beginning and ending at the Casa de Artes e Cultura do Tejo. You'll pass through the Serra das Talhadas, visiting several military monuments, the Portas de Rodão, and the Conhal (a monumental group of quartzite blocks).

This small linear route begins near the miradouro da Terra Alta, located between the parishes of Ribeirinha and Santo Amaro and ends in the center of Santo Amaro, a former shipbuilding Center of the archipelago, where you can visit the Maritime Museum of Shipbuilding and the School of Arts and crafts.
