A very pleasant space, ideal for leisure and walk activities. It has several services, namely bars and restaurants, banks, shops, parking lots, among others. It is also a very much attended place in the evening.

Wooden walkways run along the right bank of the Ribeira de Quelhas, near the village of Coentral. The trail has sections of varying difficulty and can be hiked year-round, but is recommended during fall or winter.

This route starts in Ribeira Grande, passing by the geothermal station and Caldeira Velha, then climbing to the viewpoint that offers a magnificent view over this famous lagoon and, finally, descending to its banks. It is approximately six kilometers long.

It is located on the right bank of the Zêzere River. Visit the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church), the Chapel of Santo Cristo, and the Chapel of San Sebastián. August 4th is a village holiday to celebrate the patron saint, Saint Dominic.

Noudar Natural Park, part of the Natura 2000 network, is located about seven kilometers northeast of Barrancos. The area is not located on the banks of the Alqueva River, but rather within what is considered the reservoir's area of ​​influence.

Set of buildings on the right bank of the Nabão River, on a platform built on an artificial channel that diverts the waters of the Nabão River. Mills and hydraulic presses operated there, and there are projects to transform the space into a center for science and industrial archeology.

River Beach located on the Bank of the River Mondego, with an extensive sandy beach. Offers some support infrastructures, in particular, a MultiSport grounds, parking, restrooms, first aid station, a restaurant and a picnic Park with steakhouses.

Located on a hill near the left bank of the Guadiana river, it received privileges from the charter of Évora in the 13th and 14th centuries. The architectural heritage includes the walls (National Monument), the Church of Saint Maria (National Monument), the Church of Saint Francisco (National Monument) and the Palace of the Counts of Ficalho. The Ethnographic Museum and the Clocks Museum are also worth a visit. The craftswork includes the manufacturing of shoes and the sheperd's art and the damed Serpa cheeses are traditional activities.

Located on the left bank of the Arado river, this small stretch of sand has excellent lansdscapes. Quite pleasant and lovely, the Molhe Beach is sided by the Pintadinho Beach. A stone and cement sea wall separates the beaches (and the river from the sea) and ends in a small, yet lovely lighthouse. It is an excellent option to watch the fishermen or jog a little. To get to the beach, one may follow the river to its mouth or descend a steep cliff, at the Pintadinho Beach.

A space composed of three rooms and inaugurated in 2006 that means to bring to the south bank of the Douro river the specialities of the Ponte da Pedra restaurant (located in Marco de Canaveses). The menu is composed of several entries (of the traditional Portuguese cuisine), a main dish (to choose from) and tens of desserts. A special note to the picanha brochette, which is a meat dish, and to the Bacalhau à Zé do Pipo (a cod dish). There is live music on Saturday evenings.
