Small beach between the cliffs, that owes its name to a shepherd who lived here. To get here you may take a boat, go down the cliff or, if there is low water, you find an access through the Barranco de Canas beach.

This castle is situated on a mound overlooking the Coa River and was one of the seven castles negotiated by Dinis in Treaty of Alcañices. It was also this monarch who delivered the letter of foral to the village and promoted the reconstruction of his Castle and Hadrian's wall. During the reign of Dom Manuel, are built several manor houses in the region, the wall was remodeled. Today, what remains of the medieval fence reduces to a door with torre and some scattered wall cloths.

With about five miles long, this bike makes a lovely bike ride, from Ponte da Varela to Torreira (Murtosa). You can enjoy the beauty of Ria, which accompanies us along almost the entire route. Realize your tonal changes and look for fish and waterfowl.

The São João Baptista Church has carved altars, a font and old elements of decorative art, sculpted and painted. This church was built in the middle of the XVII century. It is a large building with a consistent architecture. The altar deserves a careful look: the rich decoration, the tribune, the pelmets and the golden carving are examples of that.

This house belonged to the General João Sarmento Pimentel that, during the Seven Years War, was in Calais. The name of the house is due to the fact that the soldiers thought it looked like the inhabitants of that village, thus naming it Calaínho. It is a house with a coat of arms with a shield that has the arms of the Sarmentos, Pomentéis, Morais and Ferreiras.

Beach with caves of rare beauty, with a small stream emptying into the sand. The access is not of the easiest, as it is done by isolated paths and, sometimes, on dirt. Offers good conditions for the practice of spearfishing. It is usually frequented by nudists or by tourists looking for deserted beaches and very quiet. Don't have any kinds of infrastructures.

With the sea on the horizon, a pine forest precedes the extensive sandy area, characterized by its variety of plant species. Its location gave rise to a luxury urbanization, with the same name as the beach. Access is via a wooden pedestrian bridge. Look for the traces of Roman ruins by the sea that this place preserves.

Hotel overlooking the beautiful Eduardo VII Park and the Tagus River, being housed in a commercial and business area of the capital. The space has been completely renovated and now features a more modern face. The restaurant "Kitchen D'El Rei", with a varied menu of national and international dishes.

Built on the XVIII century, it is located on a small square, in front of the former town-hall. What used to be a jurisdictional mark is now a baroque pillory with a spiral shaft and a corinthian chapiter decorated with acanthus leafs. At the top it has the national arms, a boat, crossed arrows and the armillary sphere.
