Located in one of the "Aldeias de Portugal", at the foot of the serra da Cabreira with a superb view of the serra do Gerês, Gaiteira's House has several rooms and 1 apartment, 2 living rooms and reading, swimming pool with ample green space, games room and full kitchen. Francisco Sá Carneiro was a Portuguese politician, founder and leader of the Popular Democratic Party\/Social Democratic Party, and Prime Minister of Portugal, for about eleven months, in the year 1980. Francisco Sá Carneiro died on the night of December 4, 1980, in tragic circumstances and never completely clarified, when the plane in which followed crashed at Camarate, shortly after takeoff from Lisbon Airport, as he headed to the port to take part in a rally in support of the presidential candidate of the Coalition, General António Soares Carneiro.

Strong pentagonal plant, once intended for the defense of the city of Horta and its port of pirates attacks. Have been named, initially, of Forte de Santo António and was built in the second half of the 16th century. The original defensive system only the outer walls. Was ceded, in 1927, the Town Hall of Horta to be torn down and increase the avenida marginal. However, the lack of funds meant that the plans were not fulfilled. In 1947 it was classified as National Monument and in 1969 an Inn was built in its interior, today "Pousada de Portugal".

Built in 1722, the crucifix was put inside the chapel in 1732. In the XVIII the panels and lateral altars were covered in golden woodcarving and the small bell was placed. In the XIX century it suffered several repairs and, in the XX century, preservation and valorization works were made. The chapel, with characteristics of joanino (King John of Portugal time) baroque, is a polygonal chapel. Although it has an erudite outline, this exemplar shows the participation of regional masters. The covering in woodcarving and the two oil paintings from the master André Gonçalves stand out.

Megalithic monuments consisting of two menhirs situated relatively close to each other. It is a monolith carved from a block of greywacke, dark gray in color, with a brown patinated surface. It has a star-like appearance, an ellipsoidal cross-section, and measures a little over three meters in height, making it the largest example of greywacke known to date in Portugal. Everything indicates that these menhirs were built in the second half of the fourth millennium BC. The site is surrounded by a net, so it can only be visited from the outside.
