Casa Memorial Humberto Delgado

This 19th-century house features a main facade with two French doors and a window. This facade opens onto the large kitchen with a fireplace, also accessible through a side door, and a living room that connects to two bedrooms at the back. It was here that General Humberto Delgado was born in 1906.

This fountain has a curious history. First it was demolished to give room to two commercial establishments. To replace the fountain, the City council puts a small stone chafariz. Years later, the establishments disappeared and the fountain was rebuilt with its original form. This granite fountain has a shell on the centre and, at the tank tips, two ajutages.

The class for this Monument is religious, with Baroque features: the angels, the volutes on the façade and the drapery on the marble altarpiece, besides the blue and white glazed tiles. Its construction was done by the hands of Thomaz de Barros (person who puts the glazed tiles) and António Sequeiro (the painter). The oil paintings should also be pointed out.

Capela de Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso

Small chapel that is part of a building. It does not have a door to the outside as it was built to be a prison chapel. The facade has a large window with granite jambs and a central column, right lintel and interrupted pediment, decorated with volutes and shells. Of note is the altar entirely built in marble and the image of the Lady of Bom Sucesso located inside the aedicule, in a round arch, on a pedestal.
Antiga Sinagoga de Tomar

The Synagogue of Tomar is probably the oldest gothic Hebrew temple. The temple was built between 1430-60 and closed in 1496, during the expulsion of the Jews. After that it was converted into a prison and in 1923 it was acquired by Samuel Schwarz and donated to the Portuguese state so the Luso-Hebraico Museum of Abrão Zacuto could be created there. It retains a columned structure covered by a cross vault.

In the 13th century, there was here an ancient Manor House, couto de Portuzelo. The current building was designed in 1853 by António Pereira da Cunha.
