Building built between 1633 and 1656, to work as general ward of the monastery. In the 18th century, was installed here the residence of Prior-General of the Congregation Crúzia and later the convent library. It housed the Hospice of Abandoned Industrial and commercial school Brotero and school Jaime Cortesão, which still works.

Located near the Castle, this cosy house in granite has a dining room with fireplace. Here, you can taste some typical dishes of the region, such as the famous barrosã veal steak. After the meal, you can relax in the piano bar. On the top floor, offers rooms for rent.

Route departing from s. Martinho de Anta climbs to the plateau of Serra da Azinheira, passes through the medieval cemetery of Touças. Enters the throat, down to the chapel of Sra. da Azinheira, returning to s. Martinho de Anta, where it ends.

This standard is about 3 feet tall, a base with 3 steps, a cross in relief on each side and an armillary sphere on top. In the column is visible the inscription of the date of deployment of the emblems of nationality, with the coat of arms represented on the top of the column in the face corresponding to the entered date.

The restaurant Mr. Leitão, in Fatima, is eating and cry for more. The suckling pig, which is baked in the traditional oven tiles, heated wood and arriving to the restaurant just to 12:0 and 5:0 pm, complete the sandwiches that are sold there. The small sandwich costs 3.90 € and the largest, 4.90 €, but the restaurant customer specification, also sells out, whole suckling pig, 22€, or retail\/kg for 24 €\/kg.

From here you can get a magnificent panoramic view of the sea.

An elevation formed by lava. It is quite common to raise wild cattle here.

Originally this stone column was about 30 metres high and 3 metres of diameter, but in 1939 it was put down to built the present Avenida do Mar. In 1987 it was partially rebuilt with some of the original stones, not far from the place where it used to be. Its name is due to the responsible of the construction, the English John Light Banger.

Judging by the architecture, this Chapel features a form of construction typical of the end of the 15th century and early 16TH century, showing similarities to the monastery of San Pedro de Instrumentals by the stones. The mural there patent is of great artistic beauty, the two-dimensional nature of the figuration and by drawing the faces of angels, performed in the mid-16th century and attributed to the painter Arnaus, one of the most interesting fresquistas of the Portuguese Renaissance. The chapel underwent conservation works in 2004 and 2005.

The construction date of this temple is estimated to be 1262, judging by the inscription at the entrance, although it may correspond to the reconstruction of an old 11th-century hermitage which, in turn, was built on a 7th-century Suevi-Visigothic building – archaeological excavations carried out in 1991 revealed a structure belonging to a pre-Romanesque temple. Of particular note is the existence of an image of Our Lady of Meinedo, in limestone and with traces of polychromy, which constitutes one of the rare examples of Romanesque sculpture in Portugal.
