The pedestrian walk may start at the Monastery of Saint João of Arga, after a brief visit of that building. Follow the Vezeira Trail, a typical trail where the cattle used to pass in the days of old. The Arga Mountain has a wide high plain on the top, the Chã Grande. At that point, there is a trail that is signaled by the Clube de Celtas do Minho (Celts Club of Minho), according to the criteria of the Federação Portuguesa de Campismo (Portuguese Camping Federation). It is a small walk.
This is a pedestrian trail along na approximate distance of 16 km. From the start, at Fornelo do Monte, to the finish, at the medieval tower of Alcofra, one may view archaeological vestiges, the region's flora and fauna and the magnificent landscapes.
This mountain belongs to the Ancient Massive South of the Tejo. It is located in the westernmost part of the Algarve (near the Bravura Dam) and is oriented northeast-southwest, perpendicular to the Monchique Mountain. One can practice some sports here.
The Hill of Santa Justa belongs to the Valongo outlier and reaches its highest top at the altitude of 374 metres. Below it, by the banks of the Ferreira river, one can find the village of Couce. There are vestiges of ancient gold mines of the roman epoch.
Also called Santa Luzia hill, it is located by th city of Viana do Castelo. From the belvedere, 249 metres high, one can view the city, the Lima valley and the sea. On the top thre is the Santa Luzia Church. The ascent to the top can be made on foot, elevator or car. It is a space of rare beauty, with diversified vegetation, the celtic village (citânia) of Santa Luzia and the Tílias Park.
Leisure area located at the top of Serra da Freita, with picnic areas, clearly marked hiking trails and viewpoints with views of Serra da Arada and Serra da Gralheira, among others.
