Located in the Bastion of Nossa Senhora das Brotas, onde war material was manufactured and repaired here. It also functioned as a barracks and, during the 19th century, it was ruined. Today it still retains many traces of its originality: a circular wall, the crown with the royal arms on the front and the part of the mangers. Here you can have classes and even hippotherapy sessions.

Rustic house recovered, all in stone, located at the slope of Serra da Estrela. Dating from the first quarter of the 19th century, now offers six bedrooms, two living rooms, a recreation room and a kitchen. Abroad, there is a garden with a swimming pool, a tennis court, a wine cellar, a distillery and a furnace where even today if you can bake bread.

The first factory of this sponge cake, or light bread, was set up in a house, located in Tanque, in the parish of Margaride. It was the famous confectioner Leonor Rosa da Silva who, during more than fifty years of work, managed to make her Pão-de-ló de Margaride known in Portugal and Brazil, the name by which it is widely known today.

It was known as Quinta do Mosteiro, because it was assumed that, in its interior, there would be a ruin that was thought to be an abandoned monastery. Roman bridge, built of granite, with three full-length arches and two cutwaters. The deck is curved, and the railings and parapets are made of solid stone. It was part of the Roman military road from Amarante to Braga. A geological formation located at an altitude of approximately 1,475 meters, part of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. This location is also known for being the site of the first mountain tourism resort, which paved the way for the numerous chalet resorts found in Serra da Estrela today. Penhas Douradas is composed of three cliffs: Ângela, Rasa, and the geodetic marker.

Economic food, good atmosphere (even by the proximity between the tables) and mainly dishes of barbecue is what you can find in this home of the driver. Formerly, this was the right spot (and preferred) of drivers of trucks in Senhora da Hora. Hence the name. Today, however, the clientele is more than corporate workers around during the day, and students at night, all on demand.
