The Hill of Santa Justa belongs to the Valongo outlier and reaches its highest top at the altitude of 374 metres. Below it, by the banks of the Ferreira river, one can find the village of Couce. There are vestiges of ancient gold mines of the roman epoch.

These sites are excellent representations of traditional architecture, landscape design, and natural elements, located on extensive lava fields. They are characterized by extreme richness and geological and scenic beauty. The diversity of fauna and flora present there is associated with an abundance of endemic, rare, and protected species and communities. Since 2004, the landscape of Pico Island's vineyard culture has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

A neoclassicist chapel, dating back to the 18th century, with a longitudinal plan and the interior decorated with neoclassicist retables. In 1956 the main façade was covered by white and blue tiles. On the left side we can see Saint Anthony and read and inscription that says: "Fábrica do Carvalhinho" (Carvalhinho Factory) and below "Capela de Santo António do Telheiro" (Chapel of Saint Anthony of Telheiro). On the right side we can see an image of Our Lady of Fátima and an inscription that reads: "Restored in the year 1956".

Installed in the magnificent hotel The Oitavos, this modern and refined restaurant features, like the hotel, glass walls that offer magnificent views of the sea and the dunes. The kitchen, the Chef Cyril de Villiers, presents a very particular combination of contemporary Portuguese and international cuisine, where seafood and fish are always ingredients present. Rural village that was formerly the seat of the municipality, to which several charters and letters of privilege were granted. Its castle was part of the old defensive line in the formation of Portuguese territory and included twenty villages in its domain. In the cluster of houses, granite and quartz predominate as construction materials. The main places of interest are the castle, the main church, several chapels, the pillory in Praça do Município, the Municipal House and the ruins of Solar dos Távoras.

The restaurant Coma Porto is located in baixa do Porto. Open since February 2008, is a beautiful and elegant space. The kitchen is predominantly Italian, although the Portuguese flavours also gain space on the menu. Several salads, pizzas, fresh pastas and risottos dominate the letter, with many and varied versions. Octopus in the oven, bacalhau à Brás, various steaks and duck rice reinforce the offer. On weekends the dinner is accompanied by the animation of a DJ.

A natural site located at the Caia Dam, which stretches along the Caia River. The natural beauty of this area is due to the emerging vegetation and the possibility of spotting bird species such as the bittern, the common nightingale, the wood warbler, and the reed warbler.

Viewpoint that offers a magnificent view of the sea and the green slopes of the island. It is the closest place to the São Lourenço Peninsula, a Partial Natural Reserve in the Madeira Natural Park and part of the list of Sites of Community Interest in the Natura 2000 Network.
