There were four gates of the city, some have already destroyed, but keeping the names of antiquity. It's still the portas de Santo António, located to the Northeast, today enters the city. The Wicket is a small Gothic door, situated to the East, checking in only the pawns. To the Southwest is the fence gate, in good condition and to the North are the doors of Nossa Senhora do Amparo.

The church was rebuilt in the 16th century, but today it retains little of its original design. On the main façade, the Manueline portal, framed by pilasters with Renaissance decorative elements, and the 16th-century bell tower stand out. Inside, the 18th-century tile cladding, the Baroque carved altarpiece, and the 16th-century paintings of an old altarpiece deserve special attention.

The outer wall, semicircular in shape, surrounded the medieval village and the so-called Old Castle. Today, only the remains of the castle with four turrets and a gate, the ruins of the Church of São Tiago, a 14th-century construction, and the Palace of the Mayors remain. The Castle offers a unique viewpoint over the Guadiana River, the village, the salt pans, and vast sea horizons.

A circular pedestrian trail that may last up to five hours. Along the trail, there are oak trees woods, cereal areas and olive trees orchards. There are several local birds, the old Bruçó railroad, amazing landscapes at the belvederes and the Douro river, surrounded by cliffs.

The Mount of boarded up has two distinct dwellings. On rural tourism and works in another building in support of rural activities. Has a total of 5 double rooms, of which only 4 are intended for guests, with private bathroom. It features a dining room and another.

Natural park made up of small watercourses with waterfalls, lots of vegetation and water mills, with the Ethnographic Museum operating in one of them. The picnic area and children's playground complement this space, which is very popular for those who want to spend time in nature.

The occupation began in the Bronze Age, with fortification works being reinforced during the period of Arab occupation. It is part of the Castro da Cola archaeological park, which is made up of several megalithic monuments, Chalcolithic settlements and necropolises from the Bronze and Iron Ages.

Nothing remains of the original 12th century temple. The tower’s battlement row and the main chapel’s archway were both built in the 16th century. There is a cinquecento altar-piece, and the 16th century facade is made up of ashlar masonry and has elaborately worked windows.

Next to the Tagus River is this grand farm that belonged to the Templars of the Order of Christ. In this space, 16th century elements remain, such as the Manueline portal, and 17th and 18th century tiles. The group of buildings that make up it consists of a tower, a chapel, a cellar, a barn, a cloister and a palace.
