Traditional restaurant, with a menu to favour the Alentejo. In addition to the Dogfish soup, ribs with migas and other specialities from Alentejo, serves the Bacchus fondue. In this dish, the meat is cut very thin and making fat is replaced with a wine sauce to which join dried mushrooms, onions, spices and other ingredients "secret".

The gastronomic panorama restaurant known for its centuries-old history and national art to cook this fish so tasty and quirky, inter alia, the eels: fries, fish stew or Chowder make this House a reference. The eels, always fresh and wild, do these typical dishes have a unique flavor and unmistakable.

Pedestrian route measuring approximately twelve kilometers and lasting approximately four hours. It is located in the Serra de Montejunto, at the northern end of the Protected Landscape, and extends through the parish of Cercal. This House with coat-built in the late 18th century stands out for its imposing façade of great decorative frugality. Access to the noble entry is made by a wide and elegant stairwell. The foundation date of this church is uncertain, but it is known that it was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century by Dom Manuel I and completed around 1510. It has three naves defined by pointed arches and is flanked by a bell tower. It is decorated with Manueline motifs and, inside, the pulpit and the vault of the chancel stand out. It was classified as a National Monument in 1910.

A benedictin convent that dates back to the 12th century, totally remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. The façade is sided by two belltowers that end a fronton topped by a cross. The church, in the shape of a cross, has a nave with a cylinder shaped dome. The cloyster has, on the lower floor, six toscane archways and a baroque fountain in the centre.

This bridge serves as an entrance to the center of the village of Nordeste for those coming from Ribeira Grande and Ponta Delgada and was built in 1882. Not even its narrow width hides its beauty, one of the most beautiful in the entire archipelago. At night, with the lamps lit, it seems to take us back to the end of the 19th century.

The Virtudes Fountain is at the end of the Calçada das Virtudes. It also has another name, Rio Frio Fountain. This fountain was abandoned for several years but t is now repaired and you may admire the three elements that symbolize the city arms and the image of Nossa Senhora Das Virtudes disappearing between two castles.
