Located in Bairro Alto, the Bairru's Bodega is a space which seeks to recreate the Bohemian spirit of other times. Here you can taste and buy wines and liquors, among other typical Portuguese products.

This space integrates a collection of archaeological remains of great importance for reconstructing the city's history. Here you can find traces from the medieval and modern periods, and even from the Roman era and the Iron Age.

Permanent exhibition of Madeira embroidery, since the 1860s until about 1930. it owns decorative objects, furniture and clothes from the same period. Here you’ll get to know the story of embroidery making process.

Granite House, typically inserted in a friendly Thursday ahead, with five hectares. This House is closely linked to the legend of a source here exists, according to which those who drink have a dali idyllic marriage.

Primary school opened in 1934 and restored in 1955, when it was then installed the Junta de Freguesia of Forjães, the Social and Cultural Centre, an auditorium and the Municipal Library. In 2004, was inaugurated here the leisure lounge Hall Faraz.

Here, at the Mesquita site, José Vicente de Brito, a São Paulo poet, was born and lived. In his memory, a verse of his was placed in Poço Velho. The site honors the poet, who died in 1957.

Saint John's chapel used to stand here but, as the village grew larger, it was moved to the Largo da Carvalha Cimeira. This tower, where the popular parties in August take place, was built as a tribut to the ancient chapel.
