This lovely house is situated in the middle of the protected area and surrounding the Peneda-Gerês National Park, one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal, on the left bank of the river Cávado Caniçada-Albufeira. Both the House and the outside you can enjoy the wonderful views over the Serra do Gerês, Caniçada reservoir, the shrine of St. Benedict the open door and the Rio Caldo-Geres bridges.

A fort also known as Fortress of Cacela, it stands in a dominant position by the mouth of the Formosa river bank. The primitive fortification was a Moorish castle that preceded the reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula. During the 16th century, already in ruins, it was rebuilt by orders of Dom João III or Dom Sebastião. After the earthquake of 1755, it was rebuilt again by Dom Francisco de Noronha and the works were finished in 1794.

Building also called Solar dos Sá Vargas, which underwent several alterations in the 20th century, the balconies were restored, the main staircase of the building removed and the windows on the upper floor placed. In 1947, a Bank of Portugal branch was installed here and, in 2001, it was acquired by the Bragança City Council. Currently, the space is occupied by the Graça de Morais Contemporary Art Center.

After the Mondego, this is the second-longest Portuguese river. It rises in the Serra da Estrela, at an altitude of approximately 1,900 meters, and stretches for 242 km. Its main tributaries are the Nabão and Alge rivers, as well as the Isna, Paul, Bogas, Pera, and Unhais streams. It flows into Constância. Thanks to its water potential, flow, steepness, and rocky banks, it has been used for electricity generation.

Tagus River cruises are offered year-round aboard the frigate boat "Baía do Seixal" and the traditional fishing boat "Amoroso". Once used for transporting goods between the banks of the Tagus estuary, both vessels are now used for sightseeing tours and other events, providing visitors with a unique view of Seixal and Lisbon. This Gothic church suffered several transformations, particularly on the 18th century. This church is also known as São Luís Church, together with the monastery it was founded in 1596 by Luís de Figueiredo Falcão and used to belong to the Clarisse orders. It has some elements from the sixteen hundreds and from the eighteen hundreds. From the first period, it stands out the only nave, the ceiling and the main chapel coverage; from the second period stands out the doorway, the windows and the main elevation.
