Here it is possible to visit the Fafe Press Museum, which aims to preserve and conserve the memories of local media. The Museum of Migrations and Communities is also present here, with the aim of raising awareness of the phenomenon of emigration in Portugal.

This museum brings together a collection of sacred art, made up of several pieces linked to the religious life of the population, including a baptismal font produced by artisans from Lagoa, and the image of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda. The ethnography collection is made up of reproductions of typical Micaelense housing and some objects linked to the region's traditional activities.

These ancient firewood ovens, built in the early 20TH century 20, testify to the work and the art of potters that here amassavam, and coziam served the clay, which is then used to coat the houses on the island. In 2007 were recovered and can now be seen properly.
