A soccer field with a lawn used by the Vasco da Gama Atlético Clube. It has two training fields, a field for soccer of 7 and a room for body building and sports medicine.

Francisco de Sá de Miranda was a Portuguese philosopher and poet who died in Amares, in 1558, at Quinta da Tapada, where they retreated, for not having adapted to life at court.

It was the first fire light in Portugal and was built in 1527, by the commendatory of the Santo Tirso Monastery, D. Miguel da Silva, who left incomes to lit fires at night, perpetually.

A small fountain located inside a structure, with some benches inside. Its name (Fonte da Areia = Sand Fountain) comes from the large sand quantities in the place.

Church founded in 1787 by the Brotherwood and Charity of Nossa Senhora das Dores. In 1867 it suffers repair and improvement works. It has longitudinal plant with a single nave and a main chapel.

This obelisks coming from the Quinta da Prelada are two XVIII century works, made by Nicolau Nasoni. They were later associated with the entrance of the D. Pedro’s troops in the city.
