Chapel on a Thursday, with access to the same port, located a few kilometres from the Centre of the village. The facades are painted in white and blue shot lead base. It consists of nave, chancel, vestry, House of focaccia and sanitary facilities. The interior can be seen polychrome tile and blue and white. Today functions as Chapel.

The parade ground is shaped like an irregular polygon. The citadel is entered through three main gates: the Porta da Esquina, the Porta de Olivença, and the Porta de S. Vicente. This is one of the most known Romanic Monasteries. It is rather well conserved with rich sculptures elements and a high crenel tower with a bell which doorway displays in its tympanum an Agnus Dei. In 1988, the Praia Grande was classified a "Praia Dourada” (meaning golden beach) by the Ministry of the Environment. To highlight the event, a walking trail is proposed to all that visit the beach. The tour is designed so that visitors can best enjoy and appreciate the landscape and existing natural heritage. The trail is split into two walking paths, each around two kilometers long. These are: the trilho nascente (rising sun trail) and the trilho poente (setting sun trail).

It's a "must-see" stop for anyone heading up to the Serra da Estrela mountain range via the EN339 from Covilhã, as this viewpoint offers magnificent views of the city itself and the surrounding Cova da Beira region.
