This museum, inaugurated in 1992, aims to portray what was once one of the main economic activities of the municipality: the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. Reservations are required at the Municipal Library to visit.

Corresponding to a typology of monument that only six copies in Portugal, the decor features used on this memorial are its construction in the mid-13TH century. Originally located along the road that came from the medieval port and crossed the parish of Paço de Sousa, was moved from its original position due to the transformation of the road network. The Ervamoira Site Museum, inaugurated in 1997, is located on the Ervamoira Estate, in the heart of the Côa Valley Archaeological Park. A visit to the Ervamoira Museum will introduce you to the various areas linked to the history of the site and the Douro wine industry: Natural Heritage, Roman and Medieval Archaeological Heritage, Ethnographic Heritage, the history of Casa Ramos Pinto, the Estates and the Viticulture of the Upper Douro. Visits to the Farm and the Ervamoira Museum are organized by appointment and conducted by a guide.

The Tourist Office organizes a tour that takes in Castro Verde's main attractions. By appointment, you can visit the Royal Basilica, the Lucerne Museum, and local crafts, among other attractions.

A pedestrian trail that starts at Sistelo, along which one may visit two "brandas", that of the Covo river and that of Alhal. It is along typical rural pathways, with cultivated corn and hay for the cattle.

A nice, peaceful garden, that belongs to the Dukes Palace, where the Dukes of Bragança once lived. Even though it is not open for visits, it is well taken care of, with a small lake and pleasant corners.

This park belongs to the House Venture Terra, classed as a Public Interest Construction. The building, by the architect Venture Terra, was awarded the Valmor Pize in 1909. It may only be visited under appointment.
