This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.

A pleasant, densely wooded area with plenty of shaded spots to relax. Don't miss the small pond with ducks and the fence with a few deer.

The original chapel, dating from the 15th century, was rebuilt between 1674 and 1676. The main façade features a straight-lintel portal, while the side façades feature Manueline arched portals. The interior features the high choir, the pulpit on the Gospel side, and the chancel with a triptych commemorating the patron saint.

This elevation reaches its highest point at approximately 587 meters and boasts abundant vegetation due to the high rainfall. From its summit, we can enjoy fantastic views of the entire island.

A large waterfall surrounded by a landscape of great natural beauty. At the bottom of the waterfall, we find a small lake where some ducks live. A breathtaking landscape.

Viewpoint located at an altitude of approximately 600 meters, offering a privileged view over the entire island.

This viewpoint offers a wide view over the vast sands of São Lourenço Bay and the hillsides dotted with vineyards and a few houses.

A beach with fine, clear sand and a vast expanse of sand divided in half by a pier. This location hosts the famous Festa da Maré in August every year. It is classified as a Nature Reserve.

A seaside resort with a beach and natural pools, located at the bottom of a beautiful hillside. It boasts a vast stretch of sand indented by low rocks that jut out into the sea. It is classified as a Nature Reserve.

The façade is typical of 18th-century art, with a door topped by an oculus and topped by a curved pediment, flanked by a bell tower. The interior is lined with tiles depicting jars and dolphins, dating from 1726. The gilded altarpiece of the main altar houses an image of Our Lady of Conception, the church's patron saint. Attached to the church is an interesting museum featuring sacred art.
