In the center of Viseu you can admire the beauty of its narrow streets, its buildings of great historical and architectural value and find several traditional shops. It is there that many cultural and artistic events take place.

An 11 km long pedestrian trail that may take five and a half hours and crosses important places of rare beauty, such as the nesting area of the falcons and the Real Fábrica de Gelo (Royal Ice Factory).

This walking trail stretches along the Douro River slope, from the old Customs building to the former Pousada de Santa Catarina. Enjoy the wonderful views of the river while soaking up the tranquility of the place.

A small pedestrian trail that is about 21 km long. It has several interesting places, namely the peaceful waters of the dam, the traditional pathways of the sheperds and the villages of Queimadela, Luilhas, Casal de Estime and Monte.

The descent into the Grass takes place through a narrow path carved into the cliff. You can observe the large number of existing cellars, a consequence of the microclimate that favours the development of vineyards, as well as fig trees and vegetables.

The Aquafitnes Badger's farm is a place where in addition to physical exercise, through the group classes, free swimming, Aqua aerobics and water exercise room, can also make use of the various relaxation treatments.

Located in an old granitee house, the Motel Abrigo do Postilhão is a very quiet place, ideal for relaxing. It has 23 rooms, with private garages, and an open air swimming pool surrounded by a greeen area.
