The Sabor River originates in the Serra de Gamoneda (Montes de León), in the Spanish province of Zamora, at around 1600 meters above sea level, then runs for more than a hundred kilometers in Trás-os-Montes and ends up flowing into the Douro River, close to Moncorvo Tower. It is considered one of the purest rivers with the greatest ecological value in Portugal.

This set of two caves is located on the left bank of the Arade river estuary. The biggest of them is 100 metres long and the smallest only a few tens of metres. It is a place where archaeological vestiges of the copper and bronze ages have been found. The largest cave is visited by many tourists. It has large, tall rooms, up to six metres, and a shallow lake.

Small fort, pentagonal in plan and composed of five irregular bastions. It has no foundations, resting directly on the natural soil. Its construction began in 1642 and 1663, during the Restoration Wars, and was then restored in 1797. In 1809, it was destroyed by General Soult's troops, and is currently in ruins. This fort is located very close to the Lovelhe archaeological site.

Located in the northeast of the municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra, on the right bank of the Unhais River, the village of Meãs is home to fewer than 200 inhabitants. The territory of which Meãs is a part predates the establishment of the nation, given the existence of numerous fortified settlements. The typical schist houses lend a distinctive color to this area. Also, noteworthy are the chapel tower and the small shrines.

This House is on the premises of the Junta de Freguesia do Coentral since 2002, since this was the House where he was born, in 1835, d. Manuel Agostinho Barreto, Bishop of Funchal. Here you can find the booty and the whole history of the Morris dancers of Neveiros Coentral and to its founder, Herlander Machado, in 1964, and various tributes paid to castanheirenses, their customs and to their homes.
