Former Jesuit College consisting of a simple rectangular plan, developed around two cloisters, with emphasis in the Church Centre. The College was founded in the 18th century and, in 1839, d. Maria II installed here the Court and jail. In the 20th century was also installed at City Hall.

Created in 1918, it was, for some time, lodged at the ancient Bishop’s Palace, where he left from in the 80’s. Its collection is mostly archaeological, from the Palaeolithic till the Middle Ages. It is oriented, mostly, to the preservation and divulgation of the roman city (Bracara Augusta) remains.

Fortress built in the XVII century to protect the city against pirates’ attacks, being enlarged in the XVIII century. It was used with military ends until 1992, year in which it was given to the Regional Government, which turned it into a cultural space, so that now is the Contemporary Art Museum.

18th century palace built by family Rebelo de Andrade. After going through the hands of several owners, this property was acquired by the City Council in 1979. Since 2007 which is under restoration and is expected to be inaugurated here some municipal galleries, a restaurant and a bookstore.

This granite gate, located on a wall, is a simple construction, with an ogival exterior arch and a depressed interior. In the medieval age, when there were seven gates, it was meant to defend the city. Currently there are only two doors lefet: the Soar or Arco dos Malos Gate and the Cavaleiros Gate.

It is one of the most important symbols of the city of Pinhel, representing the judicial autonomy of the municipality and classified as a National Monument in 1910. It features five octagonal steps, an octagonal column with a square base and a circular capital topped by a cage of eight small columns decorated with plant motifs.

A fortified settlement from the Late Bronze and Iron Ages, upon which a city was built in Roman times. Temples, a commercial area, baths, pavements, and a hippodrome, among other remains, are evident. Of note is the ancient spectacle site, the Roman circus, with a capacity of 25,000 people.

Rural house built in 1733, being later extended to present characteristics of late-Baroque architecture. Is composed of a rectangular plant irregular, with three volumes that form from two patios. In 2003 was acquired by the City Council to install a hospital here. He currently is vacant.

It became known as Torre da Alfândega after the Alfândega (Customhouse) de Guimarães building was created next to it. Visiting this point is almost mandatory for anyone visiting the city for the first time. It is mainly known for the famous inscription "Aqui Nasceu Portugal" (Portugal Was Born Here).

Shopping Center with 1 floor, no parking and has a commercial area with 500 m 2. Building adapted, with commercial function. Has 18 shops and is located in the city centre. Is open between the 8:0 and 9:0 pm. Has but no supermarket hypermarket. With restaurants.
