Founded in the 19th century, this aquarium features 93 aquariums with thousands of different species. Here you'll find Atlantic, tropical, and freshwater marine fauna. Highlights include the collections of stuffed fish and seashells, as well as a collection of King Carlos's fish. It opened in 1898 to commemorate the fourth centenary of the discovery of the sea route to India.

The Widow's House restaurant-Winebar, in Penafiel, a project of three partners in the region, does not live only from wine. Despite the immense variety of wines by the glass, snacks are also recovered in the House, with values between three and ten euros. Here reigns the regional ham, sausage, cheeses, meat puffs and the cod fritters.

Balbina is the name of the restaurant and the owner, who is also the chef. The sanctuary consists of a hermitage and a cemetery, both built in the 16th century. The Feast of the Holy Spirit takes place here, based on the popular story of a girl who herded cattle and asked for bread to survive. Thus, during this festival everyone receives bread, sponsored by the emperor, an individual who, by virtue of a promise, bears the costs.
